Maple shells produce the perfect blend of stunning attack, smooth midrange and low end punch that has made these drums so popular with top players in
every style of music. With the addition of our MasterCast hoops and OptiMount Suspension System, Masters Custom toms and floor toms offer a new
dynamic explosive tone with greater focus and increased presence. For the ultimate “near-field” acoustic drum sound, there is simply no better choice

MMX mounted toms feature MasterCast die cast hoops for improved attack, focus, and noticeably clearer
definition. Mounted toms also include Pearl’s OptiMount Suspension System featuring four-point mounting for unparalleled stability, resonance and sustain.
MMX mounted toms are available in standard, alternative, and power depths from 8″ to 16″ in diameter.
Bass drums feature D-054 claws with rubber gaskets to protect the beauty of Masters Series hoops. The tension
rod receivers are recessed to prevent accidental tuning changes and allow snag-proof insertion and removal from cases. MMX bass drum are offered in 18″ to 24″
diameters in standard and power depths.
Three Masters Custom snare drums include the MMX-1455S (14″x5.5″), MMX-1465S (14″x6.5″), and MMX-1465SD
(14″x6.5″ with 20 x CL-100 lugs). All feature MasterCast die cast hoops, SR-15 Gladstone-type strainer, and Stainless Steel tension rods with precision-fit
brass tension rod receivers.

All lugs feature solid brass swivel nuts and ultra-precise stainless steel tension rods. Both are precision machined for perfect fit thus enabling pinpoint
tuning and outstanding retention of tension settings.
Recessed bass drum claws with scratch-proof rubber gaskets that preserve the beauty of Masters bass drum hoops.
Masters Custom features thin 4 ply 5mm 100% maple shells with matching glue rings and low mass bridge-style lugs.
