These snare drums feature a newly designed snare release and Sonor’s heavy duty die-cast hoaps on top and bottom, models DS 1005 and DS 1205 feature seamless ferro-manganese steel hoops.
The snare action on all drums is isolated from the shells by using the APS Advanced Projection System (except steel, brass and bronze shells}, that is known from the exclusive Designer Series
All drums have 20 tuning rods for precision tuning and are equipped with Tune Safe Sonor’s patented anti-detuning device.
The 22 strand snares are handcrafted from stainless steel and provide a crisp and responsive tone.
