Latin Percussion is proud of their long association with Carlos Santana and his percussionists. The pride glows with the release of the LP Accents Santana Supernatural Limited Edition congas and bongos. These drums are wrapped in graphics from the album “Supernatural” and are popular not only with players, but also with fans and collectors alike.
The new edition of congas and bongos produces the same sound heard on Santana’s recordings. The graphic design radiates all around – a complete 360 degrees. The full-sized fiberglass quintos, congas, tumbas, and bongos are reinforced with steel rings embedded near the bearing edge to ensure shell integrity. Other professional features include Comfort Curve II Rims, 5/16″ tuning lugs, and LP Heart side plates reinforced with backing plates. The congas are cushioned to prevent scratching with the LP Procare integrated shell protectors.
LP Accents Santana Supernatural Limited Edition bongos have a leading edge of steel molded over the bearing edge, thus assuring proper head resonance and shell stability, and plated, cast-aluminum bottoms. Both the congas and the bongos come with specially selected rawhide heads.
A portion of the proceeds from all Santana Supernatural Limited Edition Congas and Bongos sales will go to Carlos Santana’s charity, The Milagro Foundation, which benefits underprivileged children
