KORG SG-1D

The SG-1D is a sampled piano in which sampling technology has been catapulted to a completely new dimension. The reality of sound and expression is stunning - right from the attack of the sound when the key is struck and the resonance of the sound throughout the body of the piano, to the swell and slow decay of the sound. Four preset sounds are provided: PIANO I,II and E. PIANO I,II.

In particular, the newly-sampled stereo pianos were recorded with painstaking attention to the selection of the sampled sources, the acoustical environment, mic placement, and even the method by which the keys were struck. Carefully crafted velocity switching of stereo samples provides tonal changes and dynamics that will come alive under your fingers. The mono piano samples co me from the Korg SGX-1D, bringing a now legendary piano sound into the next generation.
